48th annual Firefighters Pancake Breakfast in Lake Arrowhead, California! Saturday, July 04, 2015 7:00 AM – 10:00 AM
Join local firefighters for a pancake breakfast in the parking lot of Bank of America at the Lake Arrowhead Village. There will be a fire-safety training house and fire safety information. Fire personnel will also be available to chat and answer questions about the services they provide. Fire engines, ambulances and other fire equipment will be on display. Kids of all ages will be invited to take their turn spraying water from a fire hose. The pancake breakfast is $7 per person, with children six and under being free. Proceeds from the event are utilized by the San Bernardino County Firefighters Association, IAFF Local 935, to sponsor a free bonfire and hot dog roast with Santa Claus on December 1 in Lake Arrowhead Village. This event is a great way to end the Holiday weekend, come support your local Firefighters and community! See you all there!

Lake Arrowhead Art and Wine Festival, June 20-21, 2015
It’s that time of year again where Art and Wine come together and make magic up in Lake Arrowhead! This weekend which happens to be Fathers day is the perfect time to not only spoil dad, but yourself. Antique & Classic Wooden Boat Show | Lake Arrowhead | June 13 &14, 2015
Its that wonderful time of year again where we get to go back in time to the “Classic” days! The Classic Wooden Boat show that is! JUNE 13th & 14th, 2015! Read below for more details.
The 2015 Annual Antique & Classic Wooden Boat Show will take place Saturday, June 13th & Sunday, June 14th at the Lake Arrowhead Village
Antique boats will vie for trophies and can be viewed up close at the Lake Arrowhead Village docks. On display throughout the village will be vintage woodie cars, hot rods, antique wooden boat models and early outboard motors. Antique boats will also be for sale throughout the village.
The show is produced by the Rim of the World Historical Society with the assistance of the Antique & Classic Boat Society, the Arrowhead Lake Association, the Lake Arrowhead Village, the Up The Hill Woodie Club, Street Rods Forever and the Trompers.

Celebrate Cinco de Mayo with Papagayos 2015
Oh yah! It’s that time of year when we realize that Summer is just around the corner and Cinco De Mayo for me is a kick off to that season.
As usual Papagayos will be hosting their annual Cinco De Mayo party on Tuesday May 5, 2015. This is an all day event starting at 11am and ending at 10pm. So far the weather is looking good, which is a change from the last 2 years, good thing. The patio will be open and there will be entertainment starting at 3.
Of course I will be there, so I hope to see all your fun faces as well! Cheers and happy celebrating!
A Luau by the Lake | Lake Arrowhead Resort and Spa
All you need is a beach to have a Luau, its a good thing that the Resort has one! The Lake Arrowhead Resort is hosting a “Luau by the Lake” on May 8, 2015. This great event is one of my favorites. This night is filled with great friends, food and dancing! I have been so touched year after year with how this small community comes together. This even is to recognize and honor the “Citizen of the Year.” It goes to one individual who has gone above and beyond in the community from past years. The night is usually in theme to the honorees personality and likes!

Polar Bear Plunge… Because Jumping in Freezing Water is FUN!
Get ready to jump in freezing water for charity. This year marks the 7th annual Polar Bear Plunge. I have not found the courage yet to jump in the freezing cold water, but I really like watching other people do it! 🙂
